Eric Roberts (born Eric Anthony Roberts on April 18, 1956 in Biloxi, Mississippi) is an American actor who is the older brother of actress Julia Roberts and the father of actress Emma Roberts.

Roberts' film roles include "King of the Gypsies," "Star 80," "Runaway Train," "The Pope of Greenwich Village," "Raggedy Man," "National Security," "The Dark Knight," "Cecil B. Demented", "The Expandables" and "Inherent Vice."

His television roles include starring in shows such as "Less Than Perfect," "The Young and the Restless," "Another World," "Suits, "The Finder" and "Heroes."
