Melissa Benoist (born Melissa Marie Benoist on October 4, 1988 in Houston, Texas) is an American actress who is known for her roles in the television shows "Glee" and "Supergirl."

Benoist has appeared in films "Whiplash," "The Longest Ride," "Danny Collins," "Lowriders" and "Sundogs." She also appeared in the 2018 miniseries, "Waco."
